For many families and individuals on the Autistic Spectrum, the St. Patrick’s Day festivities can be a stressful process.
Attending a parade can be a challenge with the loud noises, crowds of people, smells and “scary” entries, while even going to a pub or coffee shop, with the crowds, smells and mess proving too much for many. However for families in particular the day can prove a challenge as parents try to make the day enjoyable for their children who would enjoy the festivities, while trying their best to include their child(ren) on the spectrum
We want to do something positive to support people this St. Patrick’s Day and so please check our our special forum thread where you can share, inquire and advice regarding St. Patrick’s Day and hopefully everyone can help everyone on this day that should be fun for everyone, including families touched by Autism!
