Mark Brennock

Mark is Murray Consultants’ Director of Public Affairs. As a journalist for over 20 years, he observed and analysed politics and public affairs, and since joining Murray in 2006 he has been a trusted adviser to clients on relationships with media and government.

He spent 20 years at The Irish Times having previously worked for Magill Magazine and the Sunday Tribune. He reported on activities in the beef industry that led to the establishment of the Beef Tribunal; he reported on Dublin planning corruption which was subsequently examined by the Flood/Mahon Tribunal; and he covered conflicts including those in Bosnia and Rwanda.

Mark specialises in corporate and public affairs and also delivers much of Murray’s media training. His current clients include Three Ireland, the Sisk Group, the Referendum Commission and the National Maternity Hospital.

Mark also advises AsIAm on its public relations on a pro-bono basis.
