Shay Hiney

Shay Hiney worked in the Financial Services sector until January 2009. He holds a BSc in Financial Information Systems from Trinity College and has always been a volunteer for both community groups and schools.

Shay now work as an Instructor and Transition Facilitator with the National Learning Network – Bray. (National Learning Network is the Training and Education Division of the Rehab Group) which is where his interest in autism derives. In this role, as well as providing training to those with special support and educational needs, Shay also provides disability awareness workshops in schools and he consider public awareness of autism to be very important.

Shay is also a Board Member with Bray Area Partnership, a member of the Hi Rez (Holy Redeemer – Bray) Youth Centre Management Team the Bray Disability Cluster Group.
