AsIAm are delighted to support Bord Gáis Energy Theatre’s first-ever relaxed performance Disney’s landmark musical production, THE LION KING, which takes place on November 9th, 2023, at 6.30PM
The team behind the award-winning musical will adapt the theatre environment and some of the visual effects to make the experience more accessible. This performance may be of interest to autistic children and adults, those who have learning difficulties or other sensory or communication needs and anyone who would benefit from a more relaxed atmosphere.
What is adapted for a Relaxed Performance?
- House lights remain partially up so that guests can come and go from their seats with ease during the performance.
- Designated quiet and activity areas in the theatre foyer and bar areas.
- Slight adjustments to the performance to make some sound and lighting effects less surprising.
