AsIAm in association with SuperValu is delighted to be bringing its community support seminars to Skerries. The event will take place in St Michael’s House, Special National School, Hacketstown, Skerries.

This seminar will focus on the topic of Autism & Access to Healthcare. Our two presenters on the evening are Dr Mary Doherty and Dr Caoimhin Mac Giolla Phadraig.

Our first speaker is Dr Mary Doherty, MB BCh NUI FCARCSI, Consultant Anaesthetist with over 20 years of experience in the Irish Health Services and autism advocate.

Our second speaker Caoimhin Mac Giolla Phadraig is a special care dentist who leads Special Care dental services. He researches oral healthcare service delivery and home care for people with neurodevelopmental conditions in Trinity College Dublin. He will present on prevention of oral disease and practical advice on how to navigate oral health services in Ireland.

This event begins at 19:00 and will finish at 21:00. There will be a question and answer session after the two presentations.
