Our seminar series hits the RCSI on Stephen’s Green, Dublin on Thursday December 13th with the theme “Autism and the Law“. Topics discussed will include disability in Irish law, relevant benefits and entitlements in health and education services, and employment rights and responsibilities for autistic people.

Speakers on the night will include:
Gareth Noble, who is recognised as one of Ireland’s leading litigators in the area of children with disabilities. He has successfully represented many families in challenging the law in respect of Domiciliary Care Allowances, Carer’s Allowance and services for children.
Dr Aideen Hearty, Head of Policy, Research & Public Affairs at the National Disability Authority. Dr Hearty will speak about about ‘Reasonable Accommodations and Good Practice’ for autistic people in the workplace.
