Adult Support: Job Search Support Classes

The latest in our Adult Support Programme, autistic adults seeking employment can get help through our Job Search Support classes. Through a combination of workshops, participants will be supported in areas like writing cover letters and updating their CV. We will discuss Autism and Employment and how to effectively self-advocate in the workplace. Finally, Interview Preparation will help jobseekers be fully equipped for their next job interview.

Who: All autistic adults over the age of 18.

Dates: Thursday bi-weekly for a duration of four sessions

Next Block Dates: 8th June, 22nd June, 6th July, and 20th July.

Time: 10-11am

Please note that you will be contacted via email should you confirm your sign-up. Emails will be sent to third-party facilitators in order to organize groups on behalf of AsIAm.

This group is a peer support group, designed to be a safe space for members of the adult autistic community to communicate with one another in a safe, accepting environment. Though these groups are intended to be supportive spaces, at times topics may be discussed or raised by community members that some may find upsetting. The support these peer groups offer is only support. If you have any significant issues or are seeking medical advice, please speak to your GP.
