Sheena Horgan

With over 20 years’ experience in media, Sheena has worked in Ireland and London where she founded, ran and then sold a top 100 PR agency. Working across many sectors and stakeholder groups, her client list includes leading global and Irish organisations such as 3 Mobile, O2, Aldi, Kellogg’s, Ulster Bank, RTÉ, News International, and Royal Mail.

A passionate proponent of integrity in business, Sheena specialises in CSR and projects that relate to brands and organisations taking an active responsibility towards society and children/families in particular.

She was an invited member of the Children’s Taskforce (UK), a credited contributor to the Bailey Review, and co-produced two radio documentaries “Is Childhood Shrinking?” (Newstalk, 2014) and “Meet The Grandparents” (RTÉ Junior, 2013). She’s published an ebook “Candy Coated Marketing” and is a long-standing columnist in Irish Marketing Journal. She is also a regular contributor on national radio – the Hard Shoulder and The Last Word in particular.

Sheena is part of the BAI’s Media Literacy Group and is a voluntary board member of The Wheel since 2014. She also sits on several committees in Kilmacud Crokes and has been coaching the 2002 camogie team since 2007.

The proud mother of four girls, Sheena is wholeheartedly committed to the ambition and vision of AsIAm to educate, empower and advocate for the autistic community.
