In response to the recently published survey by the National Disability Authority (NDA) on the Children's Disability Network Teams (CDNT) questionnaire, AsIAm has released the following statement:
AsIAm is disappointed with the recently published survey by the National Disability Authority (NDA) on the Children's Disability Network Teams (CDNT) questionnaire. We know a number of our community members were rightly disappointed by the language and presentation of a number of questions within this survey. The language used in this survey is not conducive with the ethos of AsIAm and the community members we represent and falls far short of what is expected from within the Autism Innovation Strategy
We have written to the NDA highlighting our concerns and have requested the NDA to review these questions. We look forward to working with the NDA on this.
