AsIAm is inviting quotations from independent researchers for a new project: “Dignity, Choice, Control: Exploring Autistic People's Right to Live Independently in Ireland”.
Funded by the Irish Human Rights and Equality Commission (IHREC) through its Human Rights and Equality Grants Scheme 2026–2027, the project will examine Autistic people’s right to independent living and participation in their communities under the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UNCRPD).
We welcome quotations from suitably qualified researchers with expertise in disability rights, independent living and participatory research.
The findings will help build evidence about the barriers Autistic people face, inform policy recommendations and assess Ireland’s progress towards making independent living a reality.
Thank you to IHREC for supporting this important work. Please share this opportunity with researchers and relevant networks.
