Margaret Hedden is a Sociology and Politics & International Relations student at UCD from Washington D.C. who currently works as a Policy Intern with AsIAm on the Community Support team. Through her work with AsIAm, Margaret is excited to deepen her understanding of how the NGO and Community & Voluntary sector operates, understand complex social dynamics and apply critical thinking to contemporary policy challenges. Beyond her academic and policy interests, Margaret enjoys travelling across Ireland, Europe, and the US, exploring diverse cultures and experiences. She is also an avid baker, as well as an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys swimming, camping, and hiking.
