Sarah is an experienced community support and advocacy officer, who joined AsIAm in 2021 and supported on the original formation and roll-out of the Information Line. Her background is in business management and visual merchandising, and she loves all things creative and DIY projects! Sarah has years of experience in mental health group facilitation as well as cognitive therapy. She moved from business management into psychology, and is currently training as an Integrative Psychotherapist with a focus on trauma informed, person centred practice. Sarah’s eldest brother Teddy is Autistic and has some Intellectual disabilities and epilepsy. Sarah has grown up with an understanding of complex needs and care. Her favourite past time is watching Murder She Wrote and hopes to be just like Jessica Fletcher when she is older! Sarah enjoys cooking, Film Noir, comedy and True Crime podcasts and most of all being a Mum.
