Iarnród Éireann, or Irish Rail, is the state-owned operator of Ireland's national railway network. Established in 1987, it runs internal InterCity, DART, commuter services, and freight transport, alongside the cross-border Enterprise route to Belfast

Roles are available nationwide across the rail network. Common locations include Dublin, Cork, Limerick, Galway, Waterford, Athlone, Drogheda, Kildare, Portlaoise, Mayo and Tipperary. The location depends on the depot, station, project or department.
