Elliott Willis

Elliott joined the AsIAm team in July 2025, taking up the role of Healthcare Accessibility Officer. Having completed a BA Honours Degree in Sociology, he specialised in Social Inequality and Public Policy. Elliott therefore has extensive knowledge when it comes to implementing positive change for marginalised communities. They have a particular interest and passion for social research, having previously researched Neuroqueer healthcare discrimination and Neuroqueer Safe Spaces within Universities. Elliott has used his research to listen to and advocate for the needs of both neurodivergent and queer communities. As an autistic person with chronic health conditions, taking up this role at AsIAm offers them a great opportunity to transfer their lived experience and research based expertise, to improve the accessibility of healthcare systems for all Autistic individuals.
