I have joined the One Stop Shop as a community advisor. I was previously a physics teacher then a complex needs teacher. I am passionate about working with autistic people and the wider community to create safe and nurturing spaces where everyone can feel valued and understood. As a teacher, I learned about autism in girls and women which lead me to seek out my own autistic diagnosis. I also self diagnose ADHD. I have moved from Scotland for this role and I’m very excited to meet lots of people and work towards an accepting and neuroinclusive community.
