AsIAm’s Same Chance Walk is proudly supported by PTSB.
To mark World Autism Month in April, we are calling on everyone to support Autistic people and their communities by taking part in AsIAm’s Same Chance Walk for Autism, our annual fundraising event and nationwide movement.
Because every child, every adult and every family deserves the same chance.
This year’s walk will be bigger than ever with new locations in the East and West of Ireland, bringing communities together to support Autistic people and their families.
On Sunday, 12th April, AsIAm flagship walks will take place at Belmont Demesne, Greystones, Co.Wicklow and Kylemore Abbey, Connemara, Co,Galway. People of all ages and abilities are invited to join with friends and family, by coming together to show support for Autism inclusion. Alongside walking together, family fun will be provided, and the AsIAm team will be on hand to meet as many of you as possible.
Can't make it to Wicklow or Galway?
For those that are unable to attend the walks in these locations, we invite and encourage you to organise your own Community Walks with friends, family, colleagues, or with your school, club, workplace, local town or community, during the month of April.
By joining or organising a walk, you will not only help raise awareness and vital funds for AsIAm, but will also make a tangible impact on the lives of those who need it most.
Sign up today and join the movement for an inclusive Ireland! Whether you’re pushing a buggy, walking your dog, or simply enjoying a day with your friends and family – we invite YOU to be part of the Same Chance Walk for Autism.
Let’s walk together for a more inclusive Ireland - for every family, for every adult and child, for our community.
The walk takes place on Sunday April 12th at multiple locations nationwide. Participants can also choose to organise or join a walk in their local area if they prefer.
Both our flagship walks will start at 11am, but our team will be on location from 10am to meet you.
The walk is typically 5km long, but participants are encouraged to walk a distance that suits them.
