Katie joined the AsIAm team in November 2024 as a Community Advisor at the One-Stop Shop in Galway. She holds a master’s degree in psychology and has extensive experience supporting autistic students in higher education, as well as working with autistic individuals and their families throughout the autism assessment process. Diagnosed as Autistic and ADHD, Katie brings a valuable lived perspective to her work. She is passionate about fostering inclusive environments where autistic individuals and their families feel seen, validated, and empowered to embrace neurodiversity.
