1-1 Information and Advice Service

As part of our Information and Advice service, AsIAm Community Advisors can provide multiple in-person appointments for Autistic adults and for parents/caregivers. These sessions are tailored to individual needs, and we take a neuro-affirmative, inclusive, and needs-led approach that values Autistic voices and perspectives. Session numbers are flexible, and the number of sessions offered is based on the number of sessions that may be helpful for your query.

Our Community Advisors can support with a wide range of Autism-related topics, including but not limited to:

  • Understanding an Autism diagnosis
  • Activities of daily living
  • Wellbeing
  • Education
  • Employment
  • Housing
  • Social welfare
  • Other barriers facing the Autistic community

To avail of our Information and Advice service, you must be an Autistic adult or parent/caregiver over 18 years of age and reside in one of the areas listed above. AsIAm also operates a national Information Line service, which you can contact here or by phoning 0818 234 234.

We also offer a single-session pre-diagnosis support appointment for:

  • Adults waiting on an Autism assessment, and
  • Parents/caregivers waiting for an assessment for their child or dependent.

These sessions are designed for those who are considering or exploring an Autism assessment.
