Saoirse Wilson

Saoirse joined AsIAm as a Community Support Officer in September 2025. She holds a BSc in Psychology from University College Dublin and is currently undertaking a Masters in Psychotherapy, with a special interest in inclusive mental health practices. Through her work as a Social Care Worker in a residential care setting, Saoirse has hands-on experience supporting Autistic children and young people, as well as individuals with intellectual disabilities. She has also volunteered for several years with Spun-out for their crisis helpline, providing compassionate support to people in a time of need. Saoirse has a strong personal and professional interest in neurodiversity. As someone who is dyslexic, she brings both insight and empathy to her role and is passionate about creating a more inclusive and supportive society for all.
